This book was not top tier for me. I read it as an Amazon First Reads pick, which are usually hit or miss. I finished it, but I would have been ok DNF-ing. That being said… there was no character diversity, things that made me roll my eyes and say “seriously?”, and felt exploitative especially coming to the minors involved.
