Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
by Elizabeth Gilbert
DID NOT FINISH: 35%
dnf'd at about 30% because
1. I wasn't getting anything out of it
2. a section about entitlement and god that had me rolling my eyes.
Just not the book for me, I guess.
For some reason, from what I'd heard about this book, I was expecting this to be more practical advice for being creativity. But 1/3 of the way in and so far it was just a long explanation about why you shouldn't hold yourself back from creativity. It was quite well-written, and I think if your problem with being creative is that you think you're not worthy then maybe this will be helpful (?). But a lot of it was very focused on the author's own creative journey, and I don't know who she is and I don't care ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
