This book hit me hard at the end. Just had to sit and stare for a bit. I don’t usually cry when I read but this just... Not any one thing though. It did take me awhile to get into it. The first part was slow but once I sat and gave my full attention to it, it really grabbed hold. It was a challenging book but worth it. I’m glad it was my first book of 2025.
