As a Black woman, I feel even more empowered to be my best Black self. I live for seeing other Black women feeling confident and speaking like the queens they are, and this book is perfect for helping them do just that. Britteney Black Rose Capri does a wonderful job giving the reader an insight to just a few of the experiences of black women and pulls plenty of emotion out of each moment. When she celebrates, you want to celebrate with her. When she's sad, you are sad too. You are pulled in and made to feel each and everything she describes. Its perfectly passionate and and phenomenal expression of Black existence. Just perfect.
