TW: mention of past SA and trial

Adelyn just wants to finish high school and go to college. She's ready to move past the difficult past couple years and put it all behind her.

But a mysterious dream reveals that she's not as normal as she thought. Now she has to decide if she wants to learn about her magical side or stay in the human realm. Will she be able to resist the pull of her dark side?

This is a slow burn. The middle is full of Adelyn's school life. Most of the action occurs in the beginning and towards the end.

While most of this could be considered young adult as it follows newly graduated high schoolers, it does have some spice. There's some s3xual tension as well as 1 brief on-page scene.

It ends in a cliff hanger, though it is what I expected to happen throughout the whole book.

I look forward to reading the second book when it comes out.
