I deeply wish I could give this book for than 5 stars. This is BEAUTIFULLY written and overwhelmingly inspiring. It tells the heartbreaking, fragile story of Artemisia Gentileschi, a painter in old Rome. Finding her strength while dealing with the struggle of living in a man’s world, Artemisia stays true to her soul and what she knows is right. This mix of poetry and prose is so pure and immaculately layered. I cannot get over this book. Thank you, Joy.
