I love historical romance - or not even romance, I just love historical settings in a book and films etc. For that reason I should love this book as it was beautiful.. but I missed something important in this book, a good exciting story, a thrive for more, an accomplishment for them after a hard struggle, a goal in their life to stay together and face the wars, to make this love between them epic, but there wasn't anything like that, their love story was sweet, even sexy, heartwarming and yet in the end sadly tragic.
