This is such a fun book. A clumsy happy-go-lucky girl meets the realm's Villain, and somehow lands the job of being his assistant. Surprisingly, her job doesn't end up being as bad as she thought it would be, and manages to find herself a place where she belongs. Though someone is out to take down the villain by any means necessary, it's Evie's job to figure out who it is. If you're looking for a cozy fantasy book, where a grumpy villain and his sunshine assistant tackle a murderous king and his cohorts, this book is for you.
