Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazantzakis

5.0

A classic coming of age meditation on aesthetic engagement, breaking down the barriers between the life of the body and the life of the mind, and giving oneself over wholly to the spectacular now. There's much working out of Buddhist principles of the self, and a whole lot of discourse on food, sex, drink, sex, music and sex. And dancing.
