House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

Having read all of Sarah J Mass’s impeccable books. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Crescent City.

I have to admit it was a slow start, having to read how the world of Lunathion and the whole Crescent City world worked and who and what resides in it, that took time to get my head around.

Nevertheless, I carried on. The story is so entwined with so many subplots, it keeps you interested and eager for more and it grows and develops in such away that you are drawn back. It’s a definite page turner.

Half-Fae, half-human Bryce Quinlan loves her life. Every night is a party and Bryce is going to savour all the pleasures Lunathion - also known as Crescent City - has to offer. But then a brutal murder shakes the very foundations of the city, and brings Bryce's world crashing down.
Two years later, Bryce still haunts the city's most notorious nightclubs - but seeking only oblivion now. Then the murderer attacks again. And when an infamous Fallen angel, Hunt Athalar, is assigned to watch her every footstep, Bryce knows she can't forget any longer.

This book is action PACKED! With romance and adventure thrown in. I remain eagerly awaiting the next instalment to this highly awaited new series from the queen herself, Sarah J Maas.

I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
