i think this book is pretty comprehensive, but honestly, i get lost in much of the logic along the way... it wasn't an easy read at all. nonetheless, i do love the portions about friendship - it's succinctly and beautifully written. perhaps some day, after i let more of life happen to me, and get better at understanding classics, i'll head back to this book and give it a good read again. for now, whatever little i've gotten out of this book, will suffice.
