Crimson Lake by Candice Fox
5.0

**I read this book 3 years ago, but I want to update my review to reflect how much I LOVE this book**

PLOT: Ted was accused, but not convicted, of a brutal abduction. Despite not being convicted, the public has decided he's guilty. To escape the unrelenting bad press, Ted moves to butt f*** nowhere and tries to build a new life with his geese. While trying to lay low, Ted meets PI Amanda, who is actually a convicted murderer. Bored with his geese, Ted agrees to help Amanda with her case, while trying to figure out why Amanda did what she did on the DL.

MY OPINNI: As I mentioned, I read this book 3 years ago, but it still remains one of my fave books. I discovered Candice Fox when I read her series with James Patterson. Weirdly, I'm not a big James Patterson fan (tbh it's rare I like books written by men LOL) but I loved the series and decided to check out Crimson Lake. I'm glad I did.

Beautiful, poignant writing. Enough said. Lol, who am I kidding, I always have more to say. The plot: banger. The ending: banger x 2. Thank you Candice Fox for this work of art.

PROS AND CONS:

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nada
