Lover at Last by J.R. Ward
4.0

After waiting for Qhuinn and Blay’s story for so long, this book really did it justice. I really enjoyed how everything played out between them and finally the outcome. I liked the way we get to see a different more vulnerable side to Qhuinn. the internal struggle he faces really puts it all in perspective to what he is feeling and his point of view I'm certain things. Blay on the other hands starts showing his stern aside and a shut out attitude that can be bit cruel. Even with all if this the way it all unfolds was great and the end result had me cheering for them. During a few times in the book I found myself teary eyed and choked up. I must say I love the Qhinn made every thing special and the end... Great!

The only thing I would like to be bit different was in regards to the additional stories we get. Xcor's story is fine since it combines with what's going on with Wrath. Assails and Trez were good but were left incomplete making them seem misplaced with in the book. These could have been done in a separate book especially to be able to complete the story. Even incomplete they were good and would like to get the rest of the story.

Overall the book was great and enjoyed it from beginning to end. The romance and adult content was tasteful and very well written. Being a very highly expected book JR Ward came through and delivered a book that truly didn't let you down. It was a great and easy read and I can't wait for the next installment.
