A beautiful and heart wrenching story of two sisters during one of the world's worst periods in history. Each had their own strengths and flaws and makes the reader contemplate what they might do in a hostile situation of survival.
Strength and resistance can be deminatrated in many ways--through survival, active resistance, familial bonds, friendship, love and hope.
