this book was so good that i instantly read the next one in the series! it also left me with a million and one questions, and can barely be called gay. no spoilers but its literally not even mentioned, only VERY breifly described. this is vaguely improved in the sequel though. would recommend to anyone who likes history, japanese things or clever mechanical clockwork. or fantasy.
