A great follow up to the first book! As I said before, normally a YA book with a love triangle [love square in this one I guess?] is entirely not my thing but I feel like Victor Frankenstein throwing an absolute fit because the girl he likes wants his twin brother instead of him is just so wildly in-character that I can't actually be mad about it. The writing style is very dark and atmospheric and I like that this one got away from the 'complete X task to get X thing' formula from the first one. Would definitely recommend this to people who have enjoyed Mackenzi Lee's This Monstrous Thing. (less)
