Brim Over Boot by Emmy Sanders

***ARC Review***
This is my honest and voluntary review.
I really do enjoy the enemies to lovers trope. I especially love when the MCs are in their 30s.
Sanders delivers in this second installment of The Darling Brothers series. Colton and Noah have an intense dislike for one another, (though one of them isn’t exactly sure why), but there is definitely something else brewing between them. Once Noah kisses Colton, they try to deny their newfound attraction (neither MC has been into men previously). Instead of walking away though, Colton and Noah keep testing each other for quite a while. They can’t get the other man out of their head and curiosity wins out. (Colton and the carrot incident is *chef’s kiss*). Once Noah and Colton give in to their desires, their chemistry is off the charts. This pairing is smoking hot! The possessiveness is strong in this one, as is the dirty talk! The more time these two MCs spend together, the more they realize that the animosity between them doesn’t have a place anymore.
While the squabbling/bristling is fun, I rather enjoy it when Colton and Noah are sweet to each other. I love how patient Noah is and how he understands Colton in a way that isn’t expected. Colton comes to realize that there was a bit of miscommunication between them years ago. Noah and Colton handle the conflict of the past and manage to progress towards a bright future together. Their HEA is satisfying and the epilogue is definitely swoon worthy.
Also, it was amazing seeing Ash, Jackson, and Remi in this book. Walter was a great side character as well. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
