American girl Wren Wheeler is in London about to leave to go home to Chicago. Her last day in London happens to be the worst day of her life but turns into the best day. She runs into British crown prince Theodore who is in need help to escape all the paparazzi and fangirls. Everyone is hit with the announcement that a comet is going to hit earth in 8 days. The world is ending. Wren now has no way to get home and is stuck with a prince.
They are now on a mission to get to a final destination where they both will be able to live out their last days before the world ends. It’s full of so much action and drama. The romance is so good too, the tension was amazing. Aw Comet was so cute. The dog was such a good touch. I was laughing so much during this read too. I loved all the little serious bits too. Wren being the comedic relief character was hilarious.
The ending of this book too had me screaming I’m so happy I got the arc for the second one and didn’t have to wait. This would be such a great end of the world romcom!
