Reading this book somehow felt like falling in and out of dreams without being asleep. Not really dreams though, more like a nightmare. But in a good way, you know - for lovers of thrilling, chilling, creepy books this is a total treat.
One of my favorite booktubers highly recommended this. And I went into it without really knowing anything about the plot. Most of the time that turns out to be a very good decision. Nowadays I start most of the books without reading the blurb, I just check the genre. And it has a special thrill to find out everything while you're at it.
It was very different from what I expected it to be. And the reading experience was amazing. It was very engaging and the story build-up... oh, chef's kiss! Loved the characters. I think some things could be a bit better, that's why it's a 4-star. But I'd definitely recommend.
