Reading this during pride month felt like a punishable offence
I don’t know what came over me tbh, but I saw my copy of The Deal on my shelf and felt the urge to read the next book in the series despite knowing how painfully straight the first one was.
Here’s the thing, I remember really enjoying The Deal. Now to be frank, at the time I was much younger, thought I was straight, and had a boyfriend… Dark days, I know. What I’m trying to say is, I *was* the target audience, but now as an almost 27 y/o lesbian I’ve learned that perhaps college romances involving very hetero frat boy vibes and dialogue is uhhhh not really my cup of tea. It scratched my weird random itch though, so at least there’s that!
