Strong character development: No

Diverse cast of characters: Yes

Truly don’t get the hype for this one and the more I think about it, the less I like it. Meandering plot that doesn’t go anywhere. Many concepts rapidly introduced in a thin attempt at worldbuilding that never means anything. Has nothing to say. Main character has a strong inner voice, which is about the only thing I enjoyed.
