Absolutely heart breaking and confronting read. Was engrossed from start to finish, the author has such an authentic and honest view and depiction of Brisbane and the duality of living here. “The artist’ was a great character to follow and the complex relationships she goes through, offering light hearted and funny moments with the real sad moments leaving me with much to consider. Using the Brisbane river as a metaphor for struggles faced in life was so clever also.
