Changing Lines by Toni Aleo

This was a super quick wonderful read that had me bawling. My heart broke for Tristan struggling to get back on her feet. I ached for Clair and Jude as they struggled to create the ultimate statement of their love--a baby.

Pregnancy is something so many of us take for granted while others suffer in silence, slowly dying every month when they feel they have failed by not conceiving. Hello EYEOPENER!!! Claire and Jude have an advantage over many struggling. They have the money to try and try again. It doesn't make it easier or less stressful. Like so many others they will have to decide if they should keep trying or find other solutions.

Claire is volunteering in a shelter, keeping busy. She forms a close relationship with Tristan. She is only 18, and her life could soon change forever. She is pregnant and in hiding from an abusive boyfriend. She may be the answer to Claire and Jude's desire. They might be the answer to Tristan getting back on track.

But hockey players get traded. Mothers change their minds. Fathers have rights. Situations change.
