The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
5.0

Now that I have decided to read all the works of Tolkien I am indeed over-whelmed with the amount of books that make up The Legendarium of Tolkien's Middle Earth and the many other tales that he wrote. When I read the Lord of the Rings about 10 years ago I made the mistake of not only reading the books at a quick pace but also did not read the Appendix that was at the back of the book. Reading the books with a fresh eye while listening to the Audible version is immensely helpful as the narrator's voice put a definite thrill to the battle scenes, etc. The only part that was grueling to get through was Frodo and Sam on their quest as the nearer they got to Mount Doom.
