This is a sweet story with a "grass is always greener" theme. Spoon bemoans his lack of versatility. He can only scoop up things, not slice and spread, like his friend Knife; or twirl and spear, like fork. But while he's longing to be like them, we hear THEM wishing to be more like him! Adorable full page cartoon illustrations add tenderness to the story.
