There are few things that tick all the boxes for me as much as "archaeology in space", so obviously I loved the absolute crap out of the first book in this duology. As a result, I was somewhat nervous going in about how this one would play out. But the story hit the ground running and didn't let up, so I shouldn't have worried at all!
It wasn't QUITE as much fun as the first one, purely because there weren't the archaeological puzzles to be solved and there was less focus on Jules and Mia's relationship. But it was still a fast paced and action packed adventure, full of twists and turns and moments I didn't see coming, and I absolutely loved it.
