Wish I had loved this, I think it's a great book for younger LGBTQ people or anyone just looking for queer representation, but it got a bit encyclopedic and expositional in describing different types of queer people and neurodivergence. There was more than a couple of cringe "after school special" feeling moments that took away from the overall romance for me. On paper the characters had a lot of similarities between myself and my partner and I still didn't really relate to it. From a romance perspective, the main characters slept together early on and then most of their interactions were skimmed over so the "will they/won't they" isn't really there. Overall, I'm glad another queer romance exists but I wouldn't recommend this one to my friends.
