I really wanted to like this story, and for the most part I did, but there were a couple of things that just bothered me. For example, I feel like the romantic element was so great at the beginning of the story it was building so nicely, but somewhere in the middle it took about 10 steps forward and it just seemed rushed to me. I did like premise of the book and the intertwining of Scarborough Fair into this tale, but at the end of the book I was left wanting and I don't like when books leave me like that.
