Wow. If you asked me while I was reading the book if it was worthy of 5 stars, I'd say no way. However now that I'm done, I know this book will stick with me. It was haunting, uncomfortable to read at points, and I absolutely could not put it down. A girl goes missing, and part of the book is about figuring out what happened to her, but mostly the book is about the breakdown her disappearance has on the family. I'm glad I stuck with it.
