The Woman Destroyed by Simone de Beauvoir

4.0

A new crisis/revelation on every page!

“‘Pigs will fly the day you admit you were mistaken.’

I know. When I was young I was perpetually in the wrong and it was so difficult for me to ever be in the right that now I am very reluctant to ever blame myself.”

Are we all like this or are Simone and I just kindred spirits? I feel like I shouldn’t have related as much as I did to these stories of middle aged French women in the 60s?
