The book tells the story of Lucy, a girl who wakes up and finds that all the adults are gone - we follow her adventure to retrieve the adults and meet The Creakers along the way.
I loved the underlying messages of children having a clearer outlook of the world than adults, about being different but being able to exist on the same planet and about recycling and not wasting.
Tom is a very talented man, and his books just prove that even more. 📚🔦💠(and so is Shane Devries - the illustrations are wonderful)
