Great book. I loved it. There is a reason Gary Schmidt's books have won both Newbery Honors and Printz Honors. This is a story told from Holling Hoodhood's perspective as a 7th grader and the life lessons he learns from his experiences, especially his weekly Wednesday's with Mrs. Baker.
