An Education in Malice by S.T. Gibson
2.0
mysterious medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: Complicated
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

Absolutely no plot or direction, I really dislike the characters and their dynamic just feels very unsexy for me (the seemingly shy one trying to act more dominant while the more seemingly confident and outgoing one trying to act more submissive), but worst of all, the straight-passing sex scenes get more detailed descriptions than the sapphic ones between our female leads. Why the fuck does this book exist? The only redeemable quality is the really great descriptions of the setting that make you feel like you're really there. If you like to read books just for the vibes and not an actually engaging story, you just might enjoy it. Otherwise, don't bother reading it even for the smut . . . because it's atrociously written.
