I wanted to like this. I did like finally finding an enemies to lovers where they weren’t absolute shits to each other before falling in lust. The characters and the story were mostly well written and enjoyable…

But… as enemies they still weren’t the best to each other, and and not only do they have selective amnesia about the time Luke accused her of being a terrible mom, they also literally refer to the time they met as the only time he was a jerk, completely excluding the ‘terrible mom’ insult. And Luke’s therapist relationship with Teagan was sweet and caring at first and then downright inappropriate when he had feelings for her mom and began to date her. Vivian doesn’t like Luke at first, and then for literally no reason at all decides he’s a good therapist and she can trust him with her 15 year old daughter. So many red and yellow flags in this book.
