An Expert in Murder
by Nicola Upson
A young woman, a fan of the stage, is murdered on the train to London. The detective sets out to determine if it was connected with Josephine Tey’s play soon coming to an end. With a vast cast of characters, both in the play and not, this is an extraordinarily complex murder mystery—sometimes spoilt by having too many people to keep track of, especially in the audiobook. First in a series, I’d read more, but maybe in IRL format.
