A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout
5.0
****Spoiler alert. If you haven’t read this book, turn away from my review now! ****
I could give this book more than five stars, I would. I loved watching Hawke’s and Poppy’s relationship grow into real love with all of the hardships attached. Getting to know Kieran and his whole family also was a wonderful intro for characters that I assume will be in the third book. I loved how she pulled this book together and yet still left me with so many questions.
Questions I still have:
Who are Poppy’s real parents?
Was the Queen really her grandmother?
Is there going to be a love triangle with Kieran?
What will happen to Beckett after his betrayal?
Also, why did he do it in the first place?
How will the King react to the Queen giving up her crown?
What other powers does Poppy possess?
Is Ian an Atlantian?
I hope a few of these will be answered in the next book!
