All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham

5.0

All The Dangerous Things is the second book I have read by Stacy Willingham, and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE her work. This book and "A Flicker In The Dark" are so descriptive it brings you right into that moment with the character. How the story was written ensures the reader can understand, recognize and possibly relate to the scenarios happening while reading.
The story itself has some raw and real moments about mental health. Stacy Willingham included a wonderful author's note on why she chose to write the story the way she did and attached some excellent mental health links and phone numbers.
Throughout the story, the plot thickens, making the reader's mind twist back and forth about who could have taken or hurt Mason and why.
The ending was a bit of a surprise and unexpected. How I imagined the story to play out in my head differed from what actually happened. It was nice to be given a surprise/shock when reading a book, as that does not often happen for me.
I highly recommend either of Stacy Willingham's books.
