Dark Flame by Alyson Noël
4.0

Another 4 stars, this time for the forth book in this series. In this book Ever struggles to explain the rules of the immortal world to Haven, but she's far from even acknowledging the bad parts. Haven does what she wants and she isn't bothered by Ever's warnings about Roman. Over and over Ever tries to get the antidote from Roman, until it goes completely haywire when she binds herself to him and it results in the urge to be with him, because she performed the spell when there was a dark moon. 2 attempts later, the spell has still not been lifted and Roman almost convinces her to go all the way. Now all Ever has to do is ban the negativity building up inside, and maybe then she can convince Roman to hand over the antidote. Jude, however, gets in the way, again. But this time he doesn't stand between Ever and Damen but between what Ever wants from Roman to be with Damen. ( completely mindf*cked)

Right, the reason for the 4 stars is practically the same reason as for the previous book. Ever still makes big, terrible choices and she still doesn't think. And Damen is too good for her, forgiving her after everything she has done and still loving her that unconditionally. And than Jude turns out to mess things up and Roman turns out to be not so bad as everyone thought he was, with his troubled childhood and things.

Besides the lack of Ever ever thinking or any good character development, the writing was still good. I enjoy reading this series, because it's such a quick read. No weird constructed sentences or that kind of thing. And I really hope that the next, and fifth book, in this series will bring some more character development and THINKING EVER! Besides, I think it's going to be pretty badass, with Haven all evil and mourning and crazy and thinking Ever killed Roman and stuff.
