Thank you to Atria Books for the e-arc of this book! This is a cowgirl x single dad hockey player, black cat fmc x golden retriever mmc, friends-to-lovers romance set in Texas. I liked how devoted Wyatt was to his daughter and I loved how Dakota was with her by the end of the book. It was nice to see Colt Cutler and Wyatt’s relationship and understanding get better over time, and they really mirrored each other journey’s parenting journeys. By the way, i NEED ALANNA AND WILLIE’S BOOK!! Their chemistry and their tension??!! I’m invested.
