Confessions of a Shopaholic
by Sophie Kinsella
The first book following Rebecca Bloomwood. I will admit this is my least favorite adventure of Becky's. I first read the book in early 2009 and I couldn't put it down and then immediately went out and bought the other 4 books that were out at the time.
Becky Bloomwood is one of my favorite characters! She is always getting herself into some sort of trouble and comes up with the most entertaining and ridiculous way to get herself out of it. I am currently rereading the book aloud to a co-worker on our 15 min breaks at work and it is making me laugh all over again and as I said, I love the other books about Becky more than this one.
In the most recent chapter I had read she went to get the job at the bank claiming she could speak Finnish and the bank was Finnish! Oh so funny! And then she received a letter from a bank, congratulating her on finding Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and that she has been forgiven, but she still must pay her minimum balance!
So clever!
