Fable by Adrienne Young
4.0
This was a really fun book that sucked me into the world of swashbuckling pirates, lost treasures, tough lives and found family.
I can’t remember the last time I was so invested in a book because of the world building and not because of the characters/plot. So much so, that even though there’s a sequel, I probably won’t be reading it. The world this book has created is strong enough to stand by itself, and I don’t want that to potentially be ruined by a sequel, where I care too much about the characters and they let me down.
If you ever need a nice dose of escapism, Fable is a book I strongly recommend.
