This is not a good book. Even forgetting that it is a product of its time, the dialogue is terrible and hokey, the characters are generally either completely idiotic or misogynist, and the plot is illogical and ill-conceived. It is wild to think that it was this book that introduced the planet of Dathomir and the Night Sisters, which actually do have some decent worldbuilding in the book. Even that lore has some shadows to it. My friends and I read it with a grain of salt in our eyes, but even that stung by the time I was more than halfway through it.
