Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf

Lovely. The way she portrayed the lives of the main characters and some random passers-by and less important characters, is fragmented and made up of moments, and yet (or I should say therefore) captures those lives precisely. I felt that these characters were just as much round characters as those in more conventional novels that are 400 pages long. I feel like going to London now though, and hear the "leaden circles dissolve in the air".
