Stimulating and thought provoking, though I may never become a writer I feel I'm a better reader. My copy is full of post-it notes and I'm using the strategies to evaluate other titles, reflect on where the writer is taking me, how are the characters developed, why is a particular sentence left in, I might have read less curiously before. And thinking about meaning lost in translation - humor or description and lots more. Not a reflection on translators more a comment about differences in richness between languages. Some things cant be said in english. But can I learn russian?
