I could do with fewer instances of people’s lips “crashing” into each other, but… lordy lou, the spice is spicing in this book. 🥵🌶️  I was stoked for a second installment of Spire Station shenanigans, and I knew it was gonna be poly, but I was not prepared.

The third-act breakup had a facepalming a bit (Mezli. Girl. GET IT TOGETHER!!!) but aside from that I enjoyed the characters and their eternally thirsty relationship. Mezli is an agent of chaos, Eden is adorable, and Phelix is a sadboi who just needs love and, uh, praise. *coughs loudly*

This one has more of a plot than Space For Love. A little Spire Station mystery, which adds some stakes and some world building. I enjoyed seeing more of this setting. I thought the plot was silly at first, but it made more sense as things came to light and things fell into place. It’s got some James Bond-in-space vibes toward the end.

Also, my one true love, Hadrell, makes a second appearance in this book. If they are actually a main character in book 3 as implied by the epilogue, I may expire from dehydration. 😂 Thirst! Trap! Nonbinary alien Han Solo = life.

I received an ARC of “Space for More” from the author and I fear it may have awakened something in me. Guess I need to track down more alien MFF to collect additional data.

Oh! Almost forgot to mention that this book includes a fated mate trope that didn’t make me roll my eyes so far back in my head that they risked getting stuck. I liked the conversation about it at the end quite a lot! I’ve never liked the emotional shortcut of “oooh we’re meant to be together.” But this version made me happy.

Anyway yeah this book is 90% anatomically improbable alien lovin’, and if you think that’s wrong you’re gonna have to go find somewhere else to be right. 😆
