Holy 5⭐️ thriller! This will be tough to beat as a top thriller of the year. I read this in 2 sittings which is very rare for me. This female con woman story was fast paced and fun. It kept me guessing and the ending wasn’t a let down! This January Reese Bookclub pick is awesome.

Evie Porter is meeting her handsome new boyfriend Ryan’s friends, moving in with him and living a happy life. The catch is that there is no Evie Porter - she was assigned to Ryan with a false identity. Even though this isn’t her first con, she’s fallen for Ryan and despite knowing better, she’s hoping to get her real identity back and live happily ever after. But fate has other things in store for her and she’s racing to stay one step ahead of her boss in an epic cat and mouse game.

Told with flashbacks to Evie’s childhood and past assignments, the structure of this novel kept me on the edge of my seat. The ending was also unexpected for me and solid. I highly recommend this one for thriller fans, I can’t wait to read what Elston writes next!
