Some thoughts:
The writing style is really great.
Maeve is insufferable with her "I'm not like other girls" monologues in the beginning but she becomes more enjoyable to read as the book goes on.
If you took out all the Disneyland and Frozen/Elsa references and descriptions out, this book would be half as long.
All the threats of grape to other women in this book are horrible and almost made me stop reading it a few times. It's very t-rture p-rn. Just not my type of horror/gore.
I don't know what i expected from this book but it wasn't this...I don't get the hype, but it might just not be my type of horror.
