A Curse of Blood and Wolves by Melissa McTernan

Ya know what? This just wasn’t the book for me in the end. I thought because it was a supernatural werewolf romance that it would be good because it’s almost impossible to mess that genre up, but there were just so many little things with this one that I couldn’t stand, and in the end it just made this book so unenjoyable for me.
The pacing was super weird and off. It seemed so freaking slow and boring the majority of the way through, and just when you think things are going to get exciting again, they slow all the way down and the characters start going through a million and one more problems. I also really cannot stand the whole miscommunication trope, especially when it plays out constantly through the whole book, and it’s only in the last 10 pages that they reconcile, ew no.
I also just think that the character’s were super annoying and not at all consistent. There was literally no growth either which just made the whole book seem so pointless (not to mention that the main plot isn’t finished by the end of the book, even though it appeared to be a standalone)
