I liked this book because I like when authors create their own mythology even when it’s just a blending of existing mythologies. The main characters are the demons of the seven deadly sins and witches, but a death at the beginning of the book makes this book read like a mystery. I also have a fondness for the enemies to lovers theme even though as a feminist I’m always a little torn when girls like boys who are bad for them even though I like it. I would have liked for this book to wrap up a little bit more. It seemed to just end, but I’m curious to see where the second book leads.
