Held me in a vice grip the entire time, and unlike most mysteries it didn’t tip its hand at the resolution. The domesticity of Helen and Edith’s relationship is top tier and the icing on the cake of the story. While short and sweet and a satisfying read, if it had been longer I definitely would have devoured it like the treat it is.
